Gwyn went to a meeting with the guidebook editors and Carl Ryan, and the consensus is that the Osiris photo is a serious candidate for the front cover of the guide!

All this after Carl had manipulated me out. They all seem to think that I, "...add to the picture"!

Well, of course nobody is going to say, "Wow, isn't that that the ace rock-climber Tim Hoddy?" They are talking photo-composition-wise.

If it does make the front cover, I suppose we shall have to keep quiet about the fact that Gwyn led it on a single half-rope! I'd forgotten to bring mine and Gwyn had brought only one!

Still... had a quiet day. Went to a walk out to Gravesend and did a little bouldering. It was very warm inland but the strong breeze kept the temperatures down.
