The name of the crag puts me off rather. The rock itself is pretty awful. It's loose especially the routes less than E1 and the anchors at the top are in rock that looks rather like concrete that has been tipped from a wheelbarrow and left to set. It's brittle as anything.

I don't like the place!

Yet we went there (as a club) this evening. Quite a turnout in fact. Gwyn, Barry, Stealth, Andy, Gary, Newcastle Dave, Chris, Tom, Charles, Llio, Gavin (New Bloke) and me.

Will wait a year before I go to Gravesend Wall again...!
