With both Andy and Stealth away I was wondering just who would turn up tonight. Pleased when Gareth and Gary turned up.

Llio arrived and made excuses saying that she would only come if we going to do some rope stuff. We said we could do both. That is, climb at Tor Gro and practice multiple abseils.

She wasn't keen.

She has some catching up to do and I don't quite know when she is going to do it. If she doesn't do it, I don't know what she is going to do in the Alps!

Tor Gro was very pleasant. Gareth led Marsh Dance and Gary led my route on the slab to the west. Of course, while the climbing here is not wonderful, the situation really is. As I was abseiling off the top of the second climb, my phone rang. Gary answered. "Hang on, Tim is about 100 feet above me... he's coming down..." It was Newcastle Dave... he wanted to meet us at The Joiners. We packed up. Gary thought he'd lost his keys and I was thinking that we'd miss last orders again! We made it tho'.
