I can't believe how lazy I am getting. I seem to find excuses for not climbing. OK... so it was to give John a bit of experience leading. He led Eden and Osirus, but when I offered to lead them myself I was half hoping that he'd be prepared to do it.

Still... John did very well and led Dona up Osirus. She seemed to enjoy it although she said she felt quite scared. It was her first trad climb.

Anyway, it was nice to see so many at Fall Bay. Andy, Rob and Gareth turned up. Had a good chat with Andy. He thinks he's going to jack his Jordan job in. Steve tree and Chris were there too. Stealth was there and he showed me the latest additions to his climbing arsenal. Two massive cams!

Well, it turned cold and lest I was forced to do any actual climbing Dona, John and I headed off for the Quarry and then the Joiners where we met up with the others once more.

They headed off after a while but we were joined by Tom a few minutes later.

I owe John a meal...
