Had to get out this evening. It was dark, but I just had to go.

Got out to just past Boiler Slab when I realised I had left my phone in the car. Now I wouldn't have a spare light should my headlamp fail; a distinct possibility should I slip and the headtorch comes off my head.

Walked up to Paviland, turned my headtorch off and stood for a while. The Milky Way was visible despite the glows of Llanelli to the west and Swansea to the east.

Thought about dropping into The Joiners on the way back.
