When out walking around Gower I often take photos for reference and for OpenStreetMap. The photos are mostly uninteresting. Usually, I geotag these photos and upload them to Panaramio.

If the photos are correctly geotagged then, according to the Panaramio site, they should be automatically included in Google Maps. (You need to turn on this feature when viewing Google Maps).

This used to be the case until just over a year ago when, I guess Google became fed up with my refusal to give a title and description to each shot. In my opinion the geotag is enough. Google have simply removed all of my photos from their Maps applications.

However, for some strange reason, they are still all on Google Earth.
