I raced out this evening to catch as much light as I could.

Got to Thurba Head (from Overton) just as the Sun was setting.

Tonight the Sun will set two minutes earlier and even more of the return journey will be with the headtorch turned on.

Well, my thoughts now are turning to Summer 2015. Ailefroide.

Notice they start from La Grave, get to the Promontoire and then start up the ridge! Must have been merely a short afternoon excursion 'cos the next shot is them on the Carre Glacier at just after dawn.
