Out this evening to Deborah's and saw the patch of mushrooms.

I took the photo a few days ago.

I picked this mushroom this evening. It had opened out and was about 20cm across.

Anyway, I fried it in butter and ate it. Delicious! Tasted of pork! Hopefully I didn't mis-identify it.

Still alive 1 hour later!
