The are some good sites around the net for weather forecasting. Metacheck offers someinteresting stuff for free.

For example this Mountain Forecast for the Brecon Beacons has allowed me to plan a possible day out in the Beacons this weekend. There may be some old snow and ice left from the last cold snap, if so cold temperatures this week will mean that it'll refreeze and there might be snow and ice around.

If so, we'll try some more winter stuff!
