Well... an unusual Christmas. I spent most of Christmas Eve (and Day), mostly alone, in Essex.

I went up to check Bay Cottage, spending the evening of the 24th there, and celebrated by myself and with a central heating system that had decided it wasn't going to work.

I arrived back in Swansea late on the 25th.

So... currently the family is a little spread out...

Susanne is here, of course.

Eric is currently here with us. He's off to Hong Kong soon for a while.

Ann is in Bristol.

Robert is teaching law at the Uni in Gambia. He'll be back late in the year.

I went out today to Cwm Ivy. I've never seen it quite so wet and dark.
