So... I finally got the chance to go down to Cwm Ivy and the new bird hide.

Saw some little egrets but little else of interest.

Still... that wasn't the point. Just a chance to relax a bit.

This was taken from the hide. Notice how dark it was in the middle of the afternoon

You also can just see, in the distance, a new hide under construction.

Anyway. It rained and, for once on my weekend outings, I remained dry!
