Cameras, Satellites and Parish Lines

My children grew up in a time when there were digital cameras and the GPS. They aren't, especially the younger two, impressed by technology neither are they concerned with how it works.

No doubt the two younger ones would tell me that I'm "sad" but here's the experiment.

Stand either side of the Rhossili-Port Eyon parish line and take photos of the gate across which the line runs.

If you look at the two photos on my Panaramio account you'll see that Panaramio correctly identifies them despite the two photos being taken only 60 feet apart.

It's small things like this that sometimes ignite a small spark of joy in me. Yes, kids... I know what you are going to say!
