Next week's weather is looking good for the arete. Snow and cold. Unfortunately, I shall be away.

I'll suggest to them that they do it by themselves.

I took the photo below of this crag, Paviland Far Far West to produce a topo. It involves a 2 and half mile "walk-in" and when I got there found that the I was a few hours too early and there was a dirty great shadow over much of the crag.

I also need a wide angle lens. Normally I would have scrambled down the steep grassy slope, but I was wearing wellies and didn't fancy slipping to the bottom of the zawn some 60 feet below.
