What will this winter bring?

Had planned to spend a night out on Pen-y-Fan a couple of weeks ago and get up for the cold and clear morning. Predicted temperature in the town of Brecon was -5 and bound to cooler around the summits.

Had planned to go with Dan. No one else seems as keen or as hardy.

Went down with a massive cold and thought the wise thing would be to abandon the trip. Now waiting for a suitable Friday or Saturday night. It's got to be cold for it to be good.

Katherine and Dave's baby is due on the 9th of December. I hope Dave can get out this year... It'd be my luck that it's the best winter for 20 years and Dave will be stuck at home and knee-deep in nappies, etc.

I need to buy a new car.

Would like a SWB Land Rover, but feel irresponsible driving it around Swansea. Would be good for a Summer Holidays trip to N. Africa. I fancy Morocco, Western Sahara and possibly even Mauritania.

Come to think of it... it would be really handy on snowy days.
