At least since the shoulder dislocation...

Been doing lots of faffing around at the quarry over the last months resisting any temptation to put the right arm under any stress whatsoever.

Last night Stephanie and I decided to abandon the others to their night at the quarry and we headed for East Ridge for Stephanie's first multi-pitch.

Stephanie managed completely competently of course while I struggled to get used to this ide of leading. I was flummoxed by the bottom of the first pitch for a second or two...

We were racing against the fading light and as usual I forgot my head torch and so there was little time show Stephanie some rope stuff.

We topped out to a marvelous view over Oxwich and Three Cliff bays. Stephanie seemed to enjoy it.

I love taking people on their first multi-pitch... It's a priviledge for me.

Went to the Joiners afterward and met up with the others; namely Will, Tom, Nick, Paul, and Mark.
