Back now. On the way out we stopped off in Bourg d'Oisans to watch part of the climb up to l'Alpe d'Huez. It was the penultimate stage of the TdF and of course Froome (in the yellow jersey below) went on to win. Arrived in Ailefroide late that evening after a long detour avoiding the damaged tunnel between Bourg d'Oisans and La Grave.
