My Aunt Cath told me the other day that he used to travel around the farms around Wisbech with his horses and "visit" mares. He'd be paid for this of course. He'd then spend some of the proceeds in a pub and he'd arrive back late evening, astride the horse and semi-conscious. The horse would always know its own way back home.

My Great-grandfather was apparently one of these people who could, "do anything with a horse". Are there such people?

If anyone knows whichy breed of horse this is would you please email me? I know very little about horses and I wonder if it is a Suffolk Punch. The thing is huge!!
