With Kim and Gareth we set out at 18:45 to walk the low-level path to Rhossili. We took our time about it, stopping to photograph the scenery, and were far behind schedule and, as a consequence, had to leave out the Juniper Wall to Deborah's Overhang section. It was a very beautiful walk and had a few "non-rambler" sections, i.e. short easy scrambling above big drops. About mid-distance between First Sister and Thurba Head we saw an angler below us on the rocks exposed by the low tide. He was waving and shouting. He shouted up that he had caught two huge bass and had dropped his camera phone into a rock-pool in the excitement and could we come down and take a few photographs for him with our camera? Gareth and I climbed down and, in a rock pool, the bloke showed us two big bass; 8.5lbs and 7.5lbs! Here's the bigger of the two:-
