Got up early and went with Shane to do what I thought might be a new route on the ridge between Waun Lefrith and Bannau Sir Gaer. The route may have been new but it was little more than a plod up the snow.

Shane had limited time as he's off to Morocco tomorrow morning for some paragliding! Lucky fellah! Bumped into Steve Tree, Nik, Gareth and friend on top of the ridge. They too had been snow-plodding. Anyway, Waun Lefrith looked nice!

A pleasant day out! Nice to see Shane again! Anyhow, hope to go up to Cader tomorrow to do the longest Welsh ice route. Let's see if Dingo can make it.
