Well, I haven't put a single entry in here since my little injury. Not that I haven't been out, I have; only I've been doing even less than normal. It's on the mend now, but I'm really reluctant to push things less it pops out again. I'm a bit of a slob at the moment. Collected 198 copies of the guidebook from Gwyn last Thursday and they are now all in my loft! I've given a few out to members when I've seen them. My phone has been running red hot. Stealth and NickB have been texted me and phoning me like mad trying to get hold of a copy. It's not that they ring once and then wait an hour, my call log tells me that they ring every 2 minutes!! Mad!! Anyhow... The guide. It's good. Very readable and seems pretty comprehensive. Lots of new routes, i.e. routes climbed since the last guidebook was published and routes inexplicably left out of the last guide. Roy Thomas and Goi Ashmore telphoned today asking for a copy. They had yet even to see a copy. They came round the house and of course I gave them a free copy each. They seemed as pleased as kids getting Christmas presents. Well done lads!! Will add pop-up notice to the club website just as soon as Sian Hutchinson gets her portion of the 198 copies.
