Orange Reception on Gower
Ok, so this is a bit of an odd thing to do, however it may prove useful
when planning meets on Gower.
You may wish to print this table out and stick it into the back of your guidebook!
This table is by no means complete and so if you wish to add to or correct this database, just send me the details in the
format of the database below.
NB As you will know, reception on Orange networked mobile phones depends often on your precise location.
If you get no signal and my table says you should get 5 bars, you could try all/some of the following:
- Turn your phone on and/or check the battery.
- Run around a bit.
- Hold one arm up high (just like an extra aerial).
- Stand on one leg.
- At the top of your voice shout out, "Orange... you are taking the pith!"
- Swear loudly and often.
- Ignore the stares of strangers.

By popular demand I shall be soon adding an "Apres-Climbing" Guide to Gower; i.e. a quick run-down of the best pubs and
best pints, food-serving times, etc.
Preliminary investigations suggest to us that the best pub is the 'Joiners Arms' in Bishopston and the one to be avoided is
the 'Gower Inn'.
However, we still need a little more research!
